Napoleon III ice cabinet in blackened pear tree

Magnificent blackened pear hosiery from the napoleon III period, late 1800. Moulded door with bevelled mirror on its perimeter, removable cornice with a beautiful sculpture at the head also removable as the two spinning tops and the two columns. This charmismatic furniture is very stable and robust, it is also very practical with its many storage: Four solid shelves adjustable in height thanks to the rack and pinion system as well as a large drawer at the bottom, with a sliding cover on its top. Both locks work with the original key provided. It has been thoroughly cleaned, the outside gently washed and the inside sanded and treated. A splinter of wood has been glued back to the bottom right of the door, but the repair is not visible. In excellent condition given its age, with some slight traces of use and very discreet sparse stings on the ice, this incredible and charismatic piece will be ideal in the entrance of a mansion or a haussmanian apartment for example, why not in a restaurant or a beautiful shop.
