Fire-king is a brand of glassware, similar to pyrex, from the anchor hocking company, founded in 1905 in lancaster, ohio, which manufactures low-expansion borosilicate glass objects, ideal for use in furnaces. Fire-king was originally produced in the 1940s and was often sold in local grocery stores and hardware stores. Several varieties of fire-king tableware were made: nesting bowls, dessert bowls, glass beverage containers, cottons, cups and others. There are many designs that are very popular, including blue mosaic, wheat (1952-63), primrose, fleurette, forget me not, anniversary rose, swirl/shell (1965-76), ... 📐 features.
