2 Thonet bistro chairs

Here is a nice set of bistro chairs signed Thonet. Founded in the 19th century, the Austrian brand is internationally renowned thanks to the quality of its products. Millions of chairs have left its workshops, some models will remain legendary, others more classic, still populating country bistros and village bars today. Light, comfortable and with an aesthetic as warm as it is refined, these chairs will be perfect for the kitchen where they will add a retro touch. Thonet chairs are made of beech and light-colored plywood. The wood is nicely worked, notably with an elegant curve at the backrest. They are robust, signed Thonet indented under the seat. A few discreet tackle jumps should be noted. In good condition, their patina of use reinforces their character and the shine of the finish. 39cm wide, 38.5cm deep, 43cm seat height and 82cm total height.
