A large, expressive Beni Ouarain rug where traditional Moroccan craftsmanship meets contemporary abstract design. Handwoven on a warm natural ivory wool background, the rug features a striking black composition of elongated geometric shapes, fine linear details, and patterns punctuated with dots. The almost monochrome palette gives the piece a sophisticated graphic quality, while the irregularity of the hand-drawn shapes preserves the spontaneity and individuality of authentic Amazigh weaving. The result resembles a large-scale abstract artwork translated into wool. Each rug is handwoven by Amazigh (Berber) artisans in a Moroccan cooperative, made from 100% natural sheep wool, woven on a traditional Berber loom, individually knotted and finished by hand, and created using traditional Moroccan rug-making techniques. Completely unique, with subtle irregularities that reveal its handmade character. No mass production — only authentic Berber craftsmanship. Timeless monochrome palette combining warm natural ivory, cream wool tones, off-white, charcoal black, and subtle variations of grey created by the handwoven texture.
