Antique giant brass light bulb socket 1900

Offered here is a minimalist hanging lamp. We used an early 1900s e40 brass and porcelain lamp socket, combined with modern italian 3-wire twisted silk electrical cord and metal ceiling rose. We built in a usual e27 screw cap socket inside the e40 socket so that you can use e27 bulb, but if you wish to have just an original e40 socket, we can remove it. You can still arrange for an e40 light bulb. We also coupled the lamp with a large e27 screw in red light bulb, which you will get with the lamp. Measurements: Socket is 7cm/2.7´´ long, the cord is 1m/39´´ long. Condition: Excellent. Facts: Please note that this product is vintage. It is almost never perfect. It may be a little asymmetric and metal parts may be slightly bent. Any major defects are mentioned here, but please expect to see some minor irrelevant defects not mentioned, that are common to products with more than 20 years of age. All ceiling pendant lamps and wall mounted lamps are hardwired, so they will work in any country. All table/desk lamps have european 2-pin wall plug, so you may need a country-specific wall plug adapter, or change wall plug.
