This scale of the brand terraillon, model 4000, created by the designer marco zanuso in the 70s, has become an icon of design, with its flashy orange color typical of that time, to the point that it is exhibited at the moma in new york. Unfortunately this one does not hide that it has served well in fifty years! The scale works but the wheel used to make the tare of the chosen container no longer seems to work, it turns with difficulty and the tare does not move when you manage to turn it, so you can always weigh but you have to do a little calculation. Or start dismantling the scale to try to repair it... I found disassembly instructions on the net but I did not dare to start. The large container, although still usable, is largely damaged: it has been reglued and has many scratches. The rest is in good condition. The orange color is actually a little darker than in the photos. Once the two containers are stored on the scale, row, it measures 18 cm by 12.5 cm for a height of 12.5 cm.
