Pair of glass vases, signed Leune

Pair of satin glass vases signed leune; with japanese decorations enamelled with branches to the feurs of apple trees. Very good condition. Dimensions: height: 40 cm and diameter of the base 13 cm widest, neck: 6.5 cm. Verrerie leune (1861-1930) specialist in hot-fixed enamel (france). The establishments produce medicinal glassware, porcelain, cups and vases decorated with idyllic and romantic landscapes as well as birds and flowers. Glass objects are painted with hot-fixed enamel. Leune closed its doors after the crisis of 1929.
