Dimensions 248x56x70 cm (wxdxh) Elegant dieter wäckerlin sideboard in veneer with a strong yet regular grain. The minimalist sideboard sits on a chrome coated metal base with an inlay made out of maple. The credenza comes with lots of storage space, compartments, drawers and a bottle carrier. Wäckerlin was a cabinet maker, interior architect and furniture designer from switzerland. His mid-century furniture is characterized by a puristic design language, especially visible in his famous sideboards. He developed furniture systems with le corbusier and became known for his collaboration with manufacturer behr in osnabrück. The sideboard comes in wonderful condition with only minor traces of use, some very tiny marks on the edges, nothing that detracts. The top has been refinished. Overall appearance presents beautifully.
