Table M80, Aeronautics by Jean Prouvé for Tecta

Jean prouvé is known to be a pioneer of modern architecture and design. His furniture, usually made from basic materials such as wood and metal, was always designed to be very practical and easy to mass-produce, which didn't make them very popular at the time. The m80 table, also called the aeronautical table because of the aerodynamic shape of its foot, was designed in 1929 by jean prouvé for the dining room of one of his customers. this elegant table was made by taking a thin rectangular piece of leather and stretching it over a fishbone frame that is fixed on a central base. This table was manufactured in 1990 and is a reissue by the german manufacturer tecta from 1990.
