Covered porcelain vase in Empire style.

Elegant covered vase in porcelain from Baudour, in Empire style, enhanced with rich gilding. Its flared silhouette is highlighted by a gilded pedestal and a matching lid topped with a gilded knob. The two handles are adorned with masks representing human faces. The square base rests on four molded feet, bringing elegance and balance to the whole. Produced during the second half of the 20th century by La Porcelaine de Baudour – Cerabel Belgium, this piece showcases the exceptional talent of the Belgian manufacture in reinterpreting iconic classical decorative styles. Very light signs of use are consistent with its age.
