Beautiful and very rare sardine dish made circa 1935, in germany by the prestigious house wmf, silver metal. Beautiful art deco butter dish in silver metal, very elegant with lid or sardine dish or caviar dish or jam dish, complete with a glass saucer. On the top of the lid is a very nice fish in art deco shape and with beautiful art deco lines. Tagged wmf on the base and germany. Saucer size: 18.3 cm / 7.2" long X 14.7 cm / 5.7" wide. Height with fish 6 cm / 2.3" Height without fish: 4 cm / 1.4" Total weight 497 grams. The glass saucer is impeccable. The lid and saucer are in a very good vintage condition, no shocks, some lack of silver metal on the background not visible in use. The glass saucer is impeccable.
