Antique Parisian pine sideboard

Very old Parisian sideboard made entirely of solid wood, simple and straight, oak color, many traces of time and use revealing its charm and authenticity. The term 'Parisian sideboard' refers to a style of storage furniture that was very popular in Paris and the surrounding area, mainly during the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. This storage furniture is practical and elegant: understated but with a certain unique charm. 2 cm thick pine top. 2 drawers with solid brass handle. 2 doors opening onto a large storage space. Bronze keyholes. Functional lock with key. Interior fitted with a 110x35 cm shelf. Shelf and drawer interiors sanded and varnished in a matte color for ease of use and maintenance. Furniture fully treated, rid of pests, cleaned and waxed. Top recently painted in matte black, patinated and varnished in a colorless varnish. 2 legs restored on the left side to ensure solid support. This Parisian sideboard has suffered many effects from the past years, natural aged appearance preserved on the sides and the front but its functions are preserved.
