Old bronze and porcelain bag mirror

Old vintage bag mirror in bronze and limoges porcelain. On the back of the mirror a gallant scene taken from works by fragonard. Romantic, fine and delicate images are processed in soft pastel tones. Sign. Founded in 1737, the limoges factory was initially dedicated to the manufacture of earthenware. In 1771, the first pieces of “hard” porcelain bearing the “limoges” stamp saw the light of day. It was then placed under the protection of the count of artois, brother of louis xvi, and became the royal manufacture. Perfect condition of the mirror and porcelain. Overall dimensions length 13 cm, mirror oval 6 cm X 4 cm, thickness 0.5 cm. Weight 25 gr.
