Knoll Stool by Andre Dupre Tubular Steel

This is a cantilever stool made of chrome-plated steel tube and white rubber, designed by André Dupre for Knoll in the 1950s. The knotted rubber cord is expertly wrapped around the steel base, and the cantilever shape creates an elegant silhouette without legs. This stool measures 40cm in depth, 40cm in width, and 40cm in height. The seat height is also 40cm. The piece is entirely original. The chrome tubular frame has some stains and a few areas where the chrome is missing (see photos).
