Handwoven in Morocco by Amazigh artisans, this unique rug is made from 100% natural sheep wool using traditional Moroccan weaving and knotting techniques. Its design plays with relief and negative space: soft, raised blocks of saffron yellow wool are arranged in an irregular architectural grid on a flat natural ivory base. Each rectangle subtly varies in size, shape, and texture, preserving the spontaneous rhythm of the artisan's hand. The hand-finished fringes and small woven details in yellow and ivory along the edges complete the piece. This rug brings warmth, colour, and texture to a room while remaining remarkably clean and contemporary. The saturated saffron hue creates an immediate focal point, while the ivory spaces between the raised wool blocks give the design room to breathe.
