This sublime opaline powder tray, dating from the 1940s to 1960s, white and milky is the result of the know-how of a series of toilet trim sets designed by pierre schneider. Able to decorate opaline by hand. Opaline is a delicate and translucent, even semi-translucent material of white or pastel color, which was very popular in the 19th century for the manufacture of various decorative objects such as vases, soliflores, lamps, jewelry boxes, cups, toilet trimmings. This kind of object was considered as elements furnishing the bathrooms. The powder trays were made with great attention, especially in terms of the relief patterns, which charmed many women at that time. What is quite appreciable is their very bright appearance, bringing great elegance to the rooms.
