Ceramic pitcher in blue-grey glazed stoneware – signed

Ceramic pitcher made from turned stoneware, remarkable for the balance of its shape and the subtle richness of its glaze. An elongated silhouette extended by a large, very graphic handle and a sculpted lip forming a pouring spout. The glaze features stunning shades of blue-grey, celadon, olive brown, and honey, punctuated by fine speckles and a delicate network of crackles. The decoration is fully integrated into the form: five impressions made in the clay at the base of the body rhythm the volume, while four motifs composed of double incised lines in the shape of a large L add an almost architectural geometric touch. The raw base bears two incised marks, a monogram with intertwined letters + an unidentified signature. In excellent vintage condition, shiny (see photos).
