This lamp is typical of the space age design of the 60s. This futuristic design style appeared in the 1960s. It is characterized by the use of organic geometric shapes, modern materials such as plastic and bright colors to evoke the imagination and technology of the time. Space age design was influenced by technological advances of the time, including early space travel and advances in composite materials. This lamp is made of orange lacquered metal. It consists of an oval foot on which is mounted the offal also of ovoid shape. This one can rotate. Presence of a label "made in italy" visible under the base.
