Gaspare cairoli, seccose edition. 4 stackable and folding chairs model "terna", italy, 1980s, lacquered metal structure, leather backrest, leather seat, publisher's mark on the back of the seat. H. 79 cm l. 40 cm d. 42 cm approximately (wear of use and visible marks). Very rare to have this model with leather seats and backrests. This playfully designed set of chairs is as elegant as it is versatile. Foldable, stackable and lightweight, these chairs can be taken virtually anywhere and stored easily when not in use. In 1986 the "terna" chair took place in the collection of the cooper hewitt national museum of "design" in new york and in that of the "virginian museum of fin art" in richmond.
