Borge Mogensen XL chest of drawers, 1960s

The classic Danish teak XL chest of drawers was designed by Børge Mogensen and made by Søborg Møbelfabrik in the 1960s.  Overall size is H: 143 / W: 100 / D: 46 cm. This extra-large dresser features seven drawers, each finished with carefully selected and matched teak veneer. The drawer fronts are joined using traditional dovetail joints, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship typical of Danish furniture of the period. Each drawer is fitted with two sculpted solid teak handles. It will become a great vintage addition to your bedroom, living room, or hallway. Additional dimensions: Ground clearance: 23 cm, Drawers height: 4 X 12 cm, 3 X 16 cm. The dresser has been checked and renovated by our team. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with Danish oil to enhance the beauty of the grain. Drawers are unscented and work properly. The base was remade as the old one had broken legs. Overall, it is in great vintage condition, with absolutely minor signs of use.
