I am selling this very beautiful tapered vase in enameled earthenware created by paul millet (1870-1950). This ceramist, established in sèvres in the 1860s, is famous for his refined production of porcelain and earthenware in deep blues sometimes mounted on bronze or brass. Under its base, the vase bears the stamp “mp sèvres” in a dotted circle, which allows us to date its creation between 1911 and 1930. It is distinguished by the whiteness of its paste, which is reminiscent of porcelain, and by its speckled (or marbled) enamel in a gradient of blue, where the klein blue stands out against a turquoise blue background. An original and unique gift to give (to you), which will seduce with its timeless character and elegance! ✨ very good condition: the work is in perfect condition. There are no glaze jumps, cooking bubbles or defects to report. The glaze is shiny and without roughness. The vase was recently cleaned, all you have to do is place it at home! The photographs are an integral part of the description: take a good look at them and do not hesitate to ask me your questions. A copy from the same series (see photo) but smaller in size went up for auction for €250 in nancy in 2022. Height: 33 cm; width: 11 cm. Collar flare: 8.2 cm; circumference at the largest: 35.5 cm. Weight: 880g.
