Description
This large, two-tiered coffee table is composed of two square sheets of bevelled, reinforced glass, gently curved at the corners. These are held in place by four ornate lucite columns, with a brass disc at the top to complete the piece. The table originated in the usa, and is an excellent example of 1970s american abundance: big and bold, but elegant and timeless. There are some small scratches in the lucite, as is to be expected with a piece this age. The glass is in good condition but may contain the odd mark. Creator: unknown. Place of origin: usa. Date of manufacture: c. 1970's. Period: 1970 - 1979. Materials & techniques: lucite, glass, brass. Condition: good original condition. Some minor scratches in the lucite. Wear: wear consistent with age and use - it's over 50 years old. Height: 40cm|15.7in. Width: 100cm|39.3in. Depth: 100cm|39.3in. Please enquire for international shipping costs.
