Art Deco box in malachite glass in the style of Schlevogt/collection Ingrid

Art Deco box in green malachite glass – Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. Elegant covered box in moulded-pressed green glass, with an opaline/malachite appearance, adorned with a rich relief decoration of fruits, clusters, foliage, and bows. Very beautiful emerald green colour, translucent in the light, with lovely nuances in the thickness of the glass. This piece is part of the tradition of Bohemian/Czechoslovak glassware and bears strong similarities to the malachite glass productions from the Ingrid collection by Curt Schlevogt, developed in Jablonec from the 1930s. Attribution is proposed for reference only, as the box does not bear a visible signature. Dimensions: approximately 9–10 cm in diameter and 4–5 cm in height with its lid. A beautiful decorative object that can serve as a jewellery box, sweet jar, or trinket dish. In perfect condition.
