Fruit bowl, centrepiece, ceramic, Fase Vallauris, 1942

Fruit bowl, ceramic centrepiece with glaze. Model produced in 1942, signed and dated on the underside, Fase Vallauris. On an intense black background, the hand-painted decoration features a large flower in shades of yellow and blue. The edges of the bowl are made of twisted ceramic. Condition in line with its age and use: Some marks, light scratches. A tiny chip on the glazing on one of the petals. Details have been shown in the photo. No cracks. Diameter: 32cm. Height: 5cm.
