Inspired by the oasis of Dakhla (Morocco), located between desert and Atlantic Ocean. This carpet has been decorated with geometric lines reminiscent of fishing lines in reference to the fishermen (first inhabitants of the city). The blue color recalls the seabed of the Atlantic Ocean. A creation that explores and brings up to date a traditional craft while highlighting the Berber tradition and its contribution to modern art deco. Characteristics: Origin: beni mrirt, Moroccan Berber tribe of the Atlas Mountains. Material: 100% natural and silky sheep's wool. Condition: excellent. Dimensions: 260 X 170cm /sizes are also customizable on request. Colors: denim blue, Egyptian blue and black lines. * Handmade in Morocco. * Design and production: Sarah Castelli. * Glossary: Sayed, the fisherman in Moroccan. All our carpets are unique. They were designed by Sarah Castelli and made by a women's cooperative in the village of MRIRT located in the Middle Atlas of Morocco.
