Antique Chinese opium bed from Shandong province, made of solid elm wood and dating back approximately 150 years. This traditional piece has been transformed into a large coffee table while retaining its original character, authentic lines, and handcrafted quality. The furniture features a traditional mortise and tenon joint, typical of ancient Chinese furniture, without modern assembly. Its generous top and drawers give it a strong decorative presence while remaining very functional in a contemporary or more classic interior. Stripped and treated with shellac, it retains a beautiful patina and the natural marks of time that contribute to its authenticity. Certificate of authenticity included. Origin: Shandong – China.
