6 Digoin Sarreguemines dessert plates “Willow” model

Service of 6 old dessert plates in digoin earthenware, rare "willow" model for this house, stamp on the back "digoin sarreguemines france". Their decor is orientalist with pretty pagodas or temples nestled in a countryside with exotic trees. There is also a beautiful barrier, three small figures walking at the bottom and two birds at the top. The richness of the design, its pale blue monochrome treatment, almost pointillist in places, recalls toiles de jouy. The scalloped marli is decorated with a pretty frieze: sectioned pagoda roofs it seems to me. They are in good condition, nice shine, no scratches. Just note a small lack of earthenware under the edge of a plate, which is therefore not visible from the front. Diameter 19.5 cm.
