Old salad bowl in glazed terracotta signed bisch seltz

This beautiful old bowl is made of glazed terracotta. It dates from the very beginning of the 20th century and is signed "bisch seltz" under the base. It is a creation of the bisch workshops in seltz in alsace, it is a factory which produced terracotta tiles. Round in shape, it is a salad bowl or bowl decorated with a blue-green cutlery. The slip is irregular with bubbles and defects. The back is left raw. It is a popular art object. We find traces of modeling with a tool and a finger on the back. In very good condition, it measures 29 cm in diameter X 10 cm in height.
