Modular back bar shelf – Period 1900-1920 – Brass and

Bar back shelf made of solid brass tubing and glass shelves, from the period 1900-1920, in Belle Époque commercial style. It consists of two vertical posts topped with decorative finials in the shape of hooks, holding four thick glass shelves with green edges. Three shelves have a depth of 30 cm, while the fourth has a depth of 25 cm. The forged brass brackets, with a tapered profile, are attached to the posts by a system of knurled screw collars allowing for adjustable height. The feet consist of a circular brass base with a threaded iron rod and hexagonal nut for floor fixation, a robust construction typical of early 20th-century commercial furniture. The brass has an old golden patina with signs of wear and natural oxidation on the iron elements of the feet. Overall condition is good. Local cleaning and rust removal of the iron elements are to be expected. Dimensions: H. 190 cm – W. 155 cm – D. 30 cm. Weight: 60 kg.
