60s ceramic potter oval dish

The dish is in very good condition. It has a tiny jump of enamel as big as a half pinhead on one edge, barely noticeable. No cracks, no shrapnel. It is enamelled red earth, with a vaporous and poetic decor of earth-coloured plants, a kind of evanescent and graceful ferns and grasses, against a grey background speckled with brown and khaki. The back is not emailed, and has a brand at the tip that appears to be the initials of the door or potter. It is a beautiful work, pictorial and personal, and the format, this very long oval highlighted by a small ledge is unusual. The dish can be used at the table, for service, it can also be used as a fruit cup, or as a pocket.
