Magnificent Louis XVI period writing desk in marquetry and solid wood. The piece of furniture is crafted from solid walnut and the front is inlaid on the walnut. The marquetry is composed of lemon wood, ebony, and yew. The flap is covered with leaf-decorated leather, with compasses. For optimal working stability. The handles and knobs are bronze.
