LOUIS ARNAUD Still Life. Circa 1950. Oil on thick paper. 50 X 33.5 cm. Not signed. Provenance from the artist's studio. Beautiful still life by the Marseille sculptor Louis Arnaud. Born in Marseille in 1914, Arnaud studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Marseille, then at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris under Henri Bouchard. He was very active in the field of public and monumental sculpture in Marseille as well as in the South of France during the 1950s and 1960s.
