Art Deco candy jar

Large covered pot, sugar bowl / candy dish art deco: faceted cylindrical body in earthenware, frieze with colorful stylized geometric decoration, made with a stencil; lid & large handle in chromed metal (height with handle 16 cm) 1920' / 1930' Perfect condition! Stamp gm surrounding a perched owl, made in czechoslowakia: gm = initials of gebrüder mehner, brand associated with the city of jilovè, whose emblem is an owl perched on a branch; the ceramic & metal factory (always this mixture of materials) of the mehner brothers was founded in 1887, estimated end 1945.
