Decorative plate "Wilderose" from 1892

Antique plate "wilderose" by société céramique maastricht. The "wilderose" pattern features a scene of fishermen in their boats with a pastoral village scene with church, country house and thatched cottage beside a bridge. The rim is adorned with wild roses, from which the pattern was named. The black transfer pattern is highlighted with hand painted overglaze brushstrokes in red, green, brown, yellow and pink.
