Round bubble ceiling lamp, amber and iridescent, wrought iron structure, vintage 50s

Ceiling lamp in vintage cut glass, round in shape. The bubble effect gives it its originality. Round shapes bring it both softness and warmth. It can also be used as a wall or ceiling. It is original and coquettish. It can be imagined near a main entrance, under a porch, in decoration in the house. For the record: the iridescent appearance visually characterizes the chemical process of degeneration undergone by ancient glasses that have long stayed underground. This iridescence can be deliberately provoked for decorative purposes and in this case consists in coating the glass with a very thin layer of metallic substance.
