Set of 2 table lamps with black lacquered metal frame, brass details and pleated hand-folded paper shades. Designed by Kaare Klint for Le Klint, 1940s. Designed by Kaare Klint and produced by Le Klint during the 1940s, the “Kip-Lamp” lamps reflect one of the most recognizable periods of postwar Danish design. The black lacquered metal frame forms a continuous and lightweight silhouette, enriched by the sculptural brass sphere that punctuates the composition with subtle contrast. The pleated hand-folded paper shades, a defining feature of Le Klint production, diffuse a soft and even light while expressing the long Danish tradition of paper craftsmanship. The overall composition balances modernist clarity with a warmer domestic sensibility, making the model an enduring icon of twentieth-century Scandinavian lighting design. Good conditions. They may show signs of age. Please pay close attention to the photographs. AF893.
