Superb Burwood display cabinet from the 1950s. Its clean lines, perfectly geometric façade, and beautiful proportions are characteristic of post-war modernist furniture. A piece as elegant as it is functional, offering exceptional storage capacity. Materials: Made from oak (solid and veneered), this large cabinet combines wide façades with visible grain and a central glass door. Its recessed black base highlights the geometry and simplicity of the piece. Features: The display cabinet is organised around a large central showcase equipped with several shelves and topped with an open niche. Two large closed storage spaces are located on either side. The piece is fully disassemblable, a particularly clever design that greatly facilitates transport and installation despite its generous dimensions. The doors lock. All shelves are height-adjustable thanks to a rack and pinion system. Renovation: The exterior of the cabinet has been completely sanded in the workshop to restore the natural colour of the wood. The piece has then been carefully washed, both inside and out. We chose to leave it in raw wood, without finish, to preserve its natural and bright appearance. Fully disassemblable, this vintage display cabinet will be delivered assembled but can be sent disassembled if you prefer. Each element of the cabinet will be labelled, and detailed image instructions will be provided to help you reassemble it easily. Dimensions: L173 X D39 X H172.5. Left and right cupboards: L46.5 X D32.5 X H160. Central glass cupboard: L66 X D32.5 X H130. Height of the central niche: 30. A large vintage piece from the 1950s with a sober and architectural design, remarkable for its storage capacity, central showcase, and fully disassemblable construction.
