Pair of Louis XVI style wall sconces in gilded bronze – 19th century. An elegant and charming pair of 19th-century wall sconces in the Louis XVI style. These gilded bronze sconces are distinguished by their delicate craftsmanship and superb antique patina. The light arm features a refined vegetal decoration of chiselled laurel leaves, topped with a lovely ribbon bow typical of the Louis XVI taste at the base of the motif. They are enhanced by their two original glass tulips in a beautiful yellow/green hue, providing a soft, warm, and muted light diffusion. Condition: Structure: Very good overall condition for their age. The gilded bronze has a beautiful authentic patina that reflects its history. Electricity: The electricity has its old twisted wires, which can be left as is or redone... Tulips: Please note a small chip on the edge of one of the tulips.
