Degué lamp with hammered wrought iron base and floral decoration - signed tulip shade

Degué Art Deco lamp in hammered wrought iron with a floral design – France, 1930s. Authentic Degué Art Deco lamp from the 1930s, combining elegant hammered ironwork with a stylised floral decoration and the emblematic craftsmanship of the Degué glassmakers. Very beautiful handmade hammered texture with stylised leaf patterns, typical of French Art Deco aesthetics. The old brown patina highlights the reliefs and gives the whole piece a lot of depth and character. It has a very beautiful decorative presence, suitable for both an Art Deco interior and contemporary, wabi-sabi, or elegant country house settings. In good vintage condition with normal signs of age. Beautiful preserved patina. The ironwork is sound. The electrical system has been redone with a golden metal screw socket and new textile electrical wire.
