Vintage IKEA Stoja wall lamp – 1980s Memphis design

💡 Vintage IKEA Stoja Wall Light – Postmodern Memphis Design – 1980s/90s. Very nice vintage IKEA wall light model Stoja, instantly recognisable by its geometric shapes and primary colours: deep red, yellow, blue, and white. Produced at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s, this small wall light fully embodies the postmodern aesthetic and the influence of the Memphis movement: simple shapes, bold colours, and a deliberately playful construction. 🔴 A true little design object. The red circular base is paired with a yellow piece, a natural wood stem ending in a blue triangle, and a large white conical shade. Together, they give the wall light a particularly successful graphic look, almost like a small geometric drawing placed on the wall. ↔️ Adjustable wall light. The light pivots on its mount, allowing the shade to be oriented and the direction of the lighting to be modified. This feature is well documented on the Stoja model. ✨ A soft and warm light. The slightly translucent white shade pleasantly diffuses the light and creates a lovely halo on the wall. A mirror LED bulb is included with the light, particularly suited to this type of shade as it avoids overly dazzling direct lighting. 🟡 Identifiable vintage IKEA The original IKEA label is still present inside the shade. It indicates type V714 and a maximum power of 40 W. The Stoja V714 model is also listed with a standard E27 socket (a mirror LED bulb is provided). 🏠 Small but very decorative. With its compact dimensions, it works well as a wall bedside lamp or in an entrance, office, children's room, or amidst a more eclectic vintage decor.
