BELARTI ceramic coffee table from the 60s

Coffee table with chrome base and ceramic top signed belarti. 1960s. Some say that behind this name lies julien de covemaeker (belgian ceramist born in 1927, died in 2008), who would have opted for belarti by contracting the words belges and artistes. It is said that the "j" is that of julien, but much more often that he would have had the imagination to choose "juliette"... You will therefore see many advertisements evoking pieces by "juliette belarti". Two small old restorations (not mine) to note on the tray, but not very visible, see photos. The chrome was completely deoxidized, there are still some traces of pitting but it's not much. The beauty just needs to be installed l 107 / d 46 / h 36.5 cm.
