Vintage pie dish 1950 pink and black in earthenware villeroy & boch mettlach

This large round dish is made of villeroy & boch earthenware. Of beautiful size, it allows to serve succulent pies and delicious cakes. Old pink in color, it is two-tone and contrasted with a black border and black handles. This model dates from the 1950s, it can be dated quite precisely by the mention economic union france saar in the signature: this union of the county of saar was established between 1947 and 1956. It bears the brand "villeroy et boch - mettlach - economic union france saar" and measures 33 cm in diameter. In good condition, I report cracks in the enamel and scratches of use.
