Description
Clamp lamp dating from the 1930s, selected by walter gropius to equip the bauhaus building in dessau in 1926. This swivel vice clamp, known as the typ 113 peitsche model, has a curved arm receiving a sheet metal diffuser. Of aluminum, and a bakelite switch. Marked midgard, d.r.g.m. Pat. Pend. Edition: midgard, circa 1930.
