Superb set of 4 Danish chairs circa 1960. Model 197, emblematic of the famous architect and designer Finn Juhl, published by Maison France&Son (the 4 chairs are stamped and bear the publisher's metal badge, see photos). Teak frame, seats and backs covered in a very high quality, slightly veined black leatherette. The seats have been redone by an upholsterer especially for the sale, exactly identical to the original ones, the fixing legs have been changed. Note the characteristic of the model to have the inclined backrest (which offers great comfort to the back) and especially embedded in the uprights forming a gutter. The seat itself seems to be suspended. Finally, the attention to detail goes right down to the brass strapping of the screws. Height of the backrest 75.5 cm, seat 44.5 cm, width 49 cm and depth 49.5 cm. In perfect condition, there are only two tiny scratches on the lower edge of one backrest, which are imperceptible (see last photo). With these chairs, opt for high-quality decor with a timeless design!!!.
