Unique copper wall lamp by danish architect bent karlby. Made for the østerport hotel in copenhagen, hence the name østerport wall lamp. Produced by lyfa in denmark in the 1960s. It is made of several pieces of bent copper and the outer shade is a different colour than the rest, which gives a stunningly beautiful expression. It is extremely rare and the price reflects this, if you are lucky enough to find one, they usually have a black outer shade instead of copper coloured like ours. Fine condition with normal signs of wear and tear with no faults or missing parts. It measures approx. 26 cm in height, 19 cm in width and protrudes 13 cm from the wall.
