Large oblong wicker basket

Antique woven wicker basket, oblong shape like a cradle with openwork edges in diamond cross patterns on the sides and a tightly woven solid base. Beautiful, uniform golden patina, sturdy strands, intact weaving without major fraying. One broken strand (see photo). Ideal for storing blankets, it can also serve as a decorative cradle for a natural or bohemian interior.
