Large west germany ceramic vase with geometric decorations in degraded ivory and taupe tones. Marked w. Germany and numbered 389-41. From the 1950s to the 1970s, west germany had no less than 60 ceramic production centres. The pieces were moulded in series and then decorated by hand, individually. Each of the pieces is therefore unique. In west germany production, the first figure usually corresponds to the model of the vase (which can be enamelled in various ways) and the second to its size.
