2 Luxval candlesticks • Victoria model • Val Saint Lambert • 1935

Beautiful set of "victoria" candlesticks designed by charles graffart and rené delvenne for val saint lambert and included in the 1935 luxval catalog (see photo). Both examples are made of molded pressed semi-crystal glass in a rosaline color. Named after european monarchs, the victoria pattern is rather short, with protruding arms on each side and a base that gives the impression of a large wrapped fabric dress. Very good condition. Presence of a manufacturing bubble (see photo) dimensions: height 12.5 cm • base 11 X 7.5 cm • diameter of candle location 2.3 cm.
