Danish vintage armchair by Arne Wahl Iversen for Komfort. A characterful Danish vintage armchair from the sixties, attributed to Arne Wahl Iversen for Komfort. With its high backrest, beautifully shaped wooden armrests, and elegantly tapered legs, this is a stylish piece of seating furniture where comfort and a carefully designed wooden frame come together beautifully. This armchair comes from the first owner and has now over sixty years of history behind it. In our workshop, it has recently been fully restored, addressing both the construction and the woodwork, the filling, and the upholstery thoroughly. The result is a chair that looks particularly well cared for and is ready for a new chapter in terms of seating comfort and finishing. For the new upholstery, a high-quality ochre wool blend from Oniro was chosen. The warm, lively colour forms a nice contrast with the warm wood and gives the chair a distinctive yet timeless appearance. The wool structure fits nicely with the original character of the Danish design. The combination of the high back, generous armrests, and refined wooden frame makes this armchair particularly suitable for an interior with vintage design, but also for a contemporary decor where natural materials and characterful furniture are given space.
