The movement of abstract art inspired the concept of the Dibbets "Diagonal" rugs. Geometric shapes, characterised by contrasting or tone-on-tone colours, intersect to form designs of great impact. The velvet, 16 mm thick, is made from shaved Lyocell® viscose, a fibre produced from cellulose, which creates iridescent and shiny reflections.
